Yes, we ask that you exfoliate and shave a minimum of 24 hours before your appointment to allow the laser machine to reach the hair follicle effectively. It is really important that you use a fresh razor to allow a close shave to avoid skin irritation.
You are able to start your laser treatment 8 weeks postpartum as long as you have been signed off by your doctor and they have deemed it safe for you to do so.
Yes, in many cases you can still have laser hair removal whilst taking medication. However, some medication like antibiotics, can make the skin more sensitive to light. If there is any uncertainty, we will ask you to seek medical advice before starting treatment.
